A beautiful route with Snowshoes in Guadarrama National Park, a day trip to visit the surroundings of Pico Peñalara. A route that will take us through the most beautiful glacial valleys of the Madrid and Segovian mountains.
Pico Peñalara with 2,429 meters is the highest peak that we can find in the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park, being the highest peak in both the Community of Madrid and the province of Segovia.
On this exclusive excursion through the Peñalara valleys, accompanied by one of our certified guides, we will be able to enjoy an ancient glacial area with a high ecological value that enjoys special protection. This route with snowshoes in Guadarrama National Park will not fail to surprise us with the patterns left by the snow between the wild pines and the gneiss of Guadarrama.
To finish, and before we move back to the capital, we will enjoy mountain cuisine at Venta Marcelino.
Program
We will be picked up at the meeting point established in Madrid and transferred by private vehicle to el Puerto de Cotos. At that pointwe will start our route through the most protected area of Guadarrama National Park. At the end of the route we will eat at Venta Marcelino and then be transferred back to Madrid.
