2 days Guided Routes at Picos de Europa

2 days of guided routes in the Picos de Europa in León is a spectacular experience for all Mountain Lovers, a trip guided by mountain guides where we will safely travel trails carved in the rock between green valleys dotted with lapiaces and jous.

The Picos de Europa are a limestone formation formed by 3 massifs, the eastern, central and western. We, from the Valdeón Valley, or Eigon, propose you 2 exciting routes to discover the Leonese side of this great mountain range.

• The first route will start in Caín, one of the most isolated villages in León, nestled in the Cares gorge. From there we will climb through the Mesones channel, as beautiful as it is hard, until we reach the Port of Cuba from where we will have amazing views of the southern face of Peña Santa. Once in the Vega Huerta refuge we will get into a karst terrain that will be one of the key elements on our guided routes in the Picos de Europa in León. Once the Valdeón valley appears, we will descend from the Collado del Burro to the Canal del Perro to reach Vega de Llos and from there to the valley.
• Our second selection of the guided routes in Picos de Europa in León will take us to one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the Picos de Europa, the Collado Jermoso. There we will find Diego Mella hut, where we can have a coffee while we contemplate the spectacular Peña Santa. We will continue our guided route to the Colladinas from where there is the possibility of going to Verónica Cabin (Next crossing point for those who make the Picos de Europa Ring). In our case we will continue until we reach Vega de Liordes, one of the best examples of Polje in the Picos de Europa. We will continue to Remoña from where we will see Espinama and the colors of the Cantabrian mountains to return again to the Valdeón Valley.
